Birch Associates events was founded by Sue and Katie Birch (Mother and Daughter team), sharing over 25 years of combined knowledge and expertise within the Event Management and Catering arena.


Sue’s background goes back a little further than Katies, being the mother of the partnership and commenced in the Pharmaceutical industry organising Conferences/meetings and Product launches for some of the major Global organisations. This followed with a move into the Publishing sector, where Sue delivered spectacular Award ceremonies and Gala dinners across both the Health and Food and Farming sectors, at such prestigious venues as the House of Commons. In the latter years, Sue has also integrated her catering skills into the services that the team can now provide.


Katie’s desire and passion for Event Management developed from an early age, as she assisted Sue, running some of her events. Having gained her qualifications in Business management and Accounting, Katie moved to Jersey and worked in a Country Hotel, where she managed a variety of events. On her return, Sue and Katie made the decision to join forces.

Together, with their professional team of event staff, they now pride themselves on offering a range of refreshing and inspiring Event Management and catering services, both locally and across the UK.
